At the core of every individual’s life is a need
for relationships—with God and with God’s people. First Baptist Church
of Amite offers Single Adult, Married Adult, and Senior Adult Ministries
help strengthen individuals and couples in their relationship with God and
others. Bible Fellowship groups and other activities help you to not
only know about God, but really know Him.
Our adult singles ministry seeks to love the individual
and strengthen the individual as a part of the whole community of believers.
The Apostle Paul called “singleness” and blessing and God has a purpose
and calling for those who are single for a season or for a lifetime.
The Married Adult Ministry helps you empower your
relationship with God, with your mate, and with other couples like
you. In Sunday morning Bible Fellowship groups, you will discover how
God’s Word applies to your marriage, family, work, and life. You and your
spouse will share experiences that will help you grow spiritually as
individuals and as a family.
Senior Adults who simply refuse to act their age
are okay with us. From exciting Bible Fellowship groups to areas
of ministry to traveling across the states and the world, they are
busy doing many of the things for which they never had time—until now.
The calendar is always full of events for this group.
